I'm a 51 year old (yep, now over 5 decades old! ;-) ) guy working in IT. I currently work at UNiDAYS in the Engineering team and have been there for over 7 years

Before that, I worked at Loughborough University in the IT Services Network & Security Team and was there for 15 years

, before that, I worked at MSSL (Mullard Space Science Laboratory, a remote department of UCL in the Surrey countryside) for a couple of years and before then I was finishing my 10 year stint at Sussex University..first an undergraduate student, then a postgraduate, then a researcher. During that time I fell in love, went to many parties, joined a band (Screeper), learned the tricks of my trade and generally had a good time. which I'm still trying to do :-)

Though almost 14 years ago things changed when I became a Dad for the first time. Making the world a slightly different but better place.
